About Me

Storytelling has always been my passion. I received an MFA in Creative Writing with a concentration in fiction from Lesley University (MA) and a BA in English Writing & Literature from Saint Mary’s College (IN).

I began my career in book publishing at the country’s largest independent book publisher. I worked as a rights manager and earned three promotions in less than five years, but transitioned to writing, editing, and consulting while pursuing my master’s. With nearly ten years of writing experience, I have had the opportunity to freelance for many companies, including a digital marketing agency, an anti-human trafficking organization, a UK-based book publisher, a global education company, and a prominent law firm, among others.

I currently work as an account manager for Grey Horse, a full-service feminist communications firm based out of New York, where I support clients with communications strategies, content creation, ghostwriting, public relations, and more.

I am extremely passionate about mental health advocacy, human rights issues, and redefining success. I have written for Rewire.org, The Temper, House Method, Child’s World NEWS, Learnlight, Thrive Global, Biz2Credit, South Bend Tribune and I have ghostwritten for many prominent well-known publications. I am a frequent contributor to Insider, InHerSight, and Verywell, where I write about mental health, health, and issues facing women in the workplace.

In my free time, you will find me drinking coffee, editing manuscripts, and taking long walks. I am currently working on the third draft of my novel.
