Storytelling has always been my passion. I received an MFA in Creative Writing with a concentration in fiction from Lesley University (MA) and a BA in English Writing & Literature from Saint Mary’s College (IN) where I was the editor-in-chief of the school’s literary magazine.
A former senior rights manager, I work as a writer, editor, and copywriter. I handle everything from research and SEO optimization to writing and proofreading. I help tell stories: stories that align with brands, stories that make you feel, stories that resonate with the right audience, stories that just have to be told.
I am a member of the Association of Writers and Writing Programs (AWWP), the Editorial Freelancers Association (EFA), and Soroptimist International, an organization that empowers girls and women through educational opportunities and scholarship funds. I am a member of the anti-human trafficking committee and help run the annual 5k walk/run for human trafficking awareness. I volunteer for Dream It, Be It, an after-school program that educates and supports middle school girls.
I love frequenting coffee shops, practicing yoga, and hiking. I have taught writing classes in the Midwest and the East Coast. I have backpacked across the U.S. and CA using Amtrak and last year, I spent one month living and writing in Iceland. I am currently reading Phil Klay’s Redeployment and am working on my first novel.
