Storytelling has always been my passion. I received an MFA in Creative Writing with a concentration in fiction from Lesley University (MA) and a BA in English Writing & Literature from Saint Mary’s College (IN) where I was the editor-in-chief of the school’s literary magazine.

I have worked for the country’s largest independent book publisher, where I earned three promotions in less than five years, and I have freelanced for dozens of different companies. I now work as an account manager for Grey Horse, a feminist communications firm, as well as a writer, editor, and literary consultant. I offer writing, editing, and consulting services to both individuals and businesses. I am extremely passionate about mental health advocacy, empowering women, and redefining success.

I am a member of the Association of Writers and Writing Programs (AWWP), Dames Collective, and Soroptimist International, an organization that empowers girls and women through educational opportunities and scholarship funds. I am a member of the anti-human trafficking committee and help run the annual 5k walk/run for human trafficking awareness. I volunteer for Dream It, Be It, an after-school program that educates and supports middle school girls. I have taught writing classes in the Midwest, on the East Coast, and online.

In 2015, I backpacked across the U.S. and CA using Amtrak and in 2018, I spent one month at the Gullkistan Artist Residency in Iceland. In my free time, I enjoy hiking, yoga, and fiction writing.
